RUTHERFORD, Napa County — Rutherford residents, vineyard workers and visitors can use the Napa Valley Vine’s Route 10 Up Valley Connector, which links the communities along Highway 29 between Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga.
The transit agency’s official route map effective June 7, 2026 identifies stops at Highway 29 and Rutherford Road, with locations for northbound and southbound service. Riders should check the correct side of Highway 29 before approaching a bus stop.
How often does the bus come?
The operator’s Route 10 timetable provides separate information for weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, including current service alerts. Individual departures differ by day and direction, and not every bus offers an immediate return connection.
Why the route matters locally
In a small agricultural community with limited local government services, an up-valley bus can connect residents to medical services, shopping, jobs and other regional routes. A listed stop does not mean the bus is on demand or that an arriving vehicle is guaranteed at a particular minute.
The Vine customer information line is 707-251-2800. For people walking to the highway, safe crossing locations and daylight conditions are especially important. Confirm accessibility and bike accommodation requirements through the operator.
